Custom Promos
In addition to Tangerpay’s standard promotion templates, you can create fully customised, ad hoc promotions to suit your specific business needs. Whether you want to offer a 50% off on Easter weekend or launch a limited-time discount, the Promotions feature gives you complete flexibility.
How to Create a Custom Promo
In this guide, we'll walk you through creating a custom promotion. For the example below, we will create a promotion for Easter weekend (Sat-Sun) where all customers can enjoy 25% off on washing.
On the Tangerpay Portal, go to Promotions > Create Promotion
Select the store site and choose the promotion template Other
Choose Percent Discount
Name the promotion and set the discount amount (e.g. "Easter 25% Off Washers")
Choose Washer
Set the usage to Unlimited and Undefined
Optional: Set a start date for the promotion
In this example, the Easter promotion is valid only over the weekend, so select the boxes for Saturday and Sunday.

Generate 1 promotion code.You can generate up to 30 codes, but for this particular example (Easter weekend promo), you typically need only 1 code to share with your customers.
All set! Don't forget to save the code.
How to Rename the Promo Code
On the Tangerpay Portal, go to Promotions > List Codes
Search for the promo code and click Edit

Rename the promotion with a 5-character code, and you're done!
